ZDDP

Zinc dialkyldithiophosphate, a family of multifunctional lubricant additives used principally for anti-wear and antioxidant protection. ZDDP forms protective surface films under boundary lubrication and contributes zinc, phosphorus and sulphur to the formulation, which can affect emissions-control systems and lubricant ash limits.
