Safety Data Sheet (SDS) / Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)

A standardised hazard-communication document describing a product's classification, composition, safe handling and storage, exposure controls, emergency measures, transport and disposal information. SDS is the current term under the Globally Harmonized System, while MSDS is an older name; neither document certifies product quality or equipment suitability.
