Pre-bunker sample

A sample taken before transfer begins, commonly from the supplier's offered product, delivery line or the vessel's receiving tank or line. It can help establish identity, compatibility or the pre-existing condition, but its exact source must be recorded and it does not by itself represent the completed delivery.
