Pumping rate

The rate at which fuel or another fluid is discharged by the delivery facility, usually expressed as volume or mass per unit of time. The agreed minimum, average or maximum rate should be distinguished, and actual performance may be limited by pump capacity, product viscosity, hose size, back-pressure and safe operating pressure.
